    ... all we could get was some very basic tapas (ham, cheese, crisps) and a beer. Not really a meal either, so after we left the bar we went straight to a supermarket and bought a pack of donuts!!


    From here we drove up the valley to the Eastern Alpujarras, a much less visited part of the Sierra Nevada valley than the main western end. The land here is mountainous and eroded into such weird shapes. Like the coast ...

    ... were so very excited We finished the day by going to a local restaurant called Dulci Casa, a 3 course meal and a bottle of wine for 2 was only 32 euros, the food was superb as was the service, the staff remembered David and me from last year.   We all had a really enjoyable evening lots of fun and laughs. So early get up the next day to get Jeremy snd Wendy to the airport for 10am so we left by 8am, a super weekend with lots of lovely ...

    ... we did at the beginning of our time here in Spain as the blossom was now coming out on the almond trees, sure enough we weren't disappointed and also due to the rain we have had through the last few nights the water reservoirs were more full than before.     Just moved along the coast a hours drive to a lovely little town of Isleta del Moro with the Isleta del Moro Arráez just off the coast.
