Olvera was a failure yesterday, not only did it rain but the bike rental on the Via Verde de la Sierra was closed. Left Arcos this morning, it was a nice little town and a great view from our apt but we had enuf of the mizzle and the roosters. ... not great but pleasantly surprised by delicious red pepper salad and jamon- this is the home of jamon- delicious plateful of meat then another couple of tapas which were ok. Connected with owner of hotel we were trying to book, who recommended what to eat, told us of delicious dessert, nougat ice cream. Arranged to stay at their hotel tomorrow and do jamon tour.
