I left Brugge early, and grabbed breakfast from Apu at the Quick-E-Shop (no joke). Belgium is flat and green, and very friendly to cyclists. The sun was a little strong though, I put on long sleeves at noon but I think I may have mistimed it. Ouch. I have decided to call the bike 'Wobble' ...
