... grandios gefunden haben, aber ich war müde und hatte außerdem die Funktion des Schlusslichts inne, musste also ständig Schüler davon überzeugen, dass sie doch ein bisschen schneller gehen könnten. Das "Highlight" war der Christkindlmarkt, der aus guten zwanzig Ständen zusammengesetzt war, die nicht allzu spannende Sachen darboten, nicht einmal ich habe was gekauft...

We found a lonely British themed pub for a few drinks one night where we spoke about this with a charasmatic young man of Italian & English lineage. He was proud of Verona and it maintaining a relaxed local scene while catering to herds of foreigners.

... make the best of our stop over there. We drove through more expensive toll roads - only 13 Euros, but still, $20 just to drive on an ordinary looking road.
