It was no problem he said. They also leant me a bottle of locktite to stop the bolts coming undone by themselves. I couldnt buy any around here so it was greatly apreciated. I am dropping a bottle of wine around shortly to say thanks.

Big day working on klaus. Got the gearbox off and after having to take the flywheel off, finaly got to the adapter plate that needs to be repaired. Well i say repaired but after looking at the thicknesses of metal i think welding will only be a temporary fix and will worry me later. dee somehow managed to get an exploded veiw of the plate from vetus so I could get the part number. its part number being ...
Klaus broke in a big way.
Klaus has really thrown a wobbly today. the mounting plate that holds the starter motor cracked and let go so the motor will not start. We were in a lock at the time so towed it out on foot and started phing around. i went to the lock keeps cottage and the woman there phoned the mechanics which it turns out is the one we tried to get work done in vitrie la francoise. Its monday so he is closed. They have very long weekends here. i figured we are ...
