... San Marco. It was around 10am and the st mark's line was already super long. The campanile line wasn't too bad, so we hopped in that to buy our elevator ticket to the top. Our total was 32 euro, and I smartly got out two 20s and a 2 euro coin, so I would get a 10 back. Tomorrow we embark on our Eastern Mediterranean cruise on board the Legend of the Seas, so won't have easy Internet access. Looking forward to be next part of the ...

... unfortunately the card machine was 'broken' so we would have to pay by cash. We couldn't help feeling this was one dodgy place, we felt we were getting scammed, there was nothing we could do about it and he didn't seem to care.

After dropping our bags we headed out to get some dinner, it was 10.30pm by this time. We were under the impression Italian's ate late so didn't think we would have too much trouble finding somewhere that would serve us, ...

... and peach snaps and nectar. Peaches were out season so we had strawberries instead. Met Kyle at 6pm for our gondola ride. Best fun yet! Mum dad and I got a boat to ourselves and shared a bottle of preseco. We also had a beautiful singer and accordion player on our boat serenading us. Amazing!!! Private taxi back to mainland again where John was waiting. Back to our hotel for included dinner and ...
