    ... traditional method, it took much much longer. To make the wait seem shorter a man and his son performed in a little band. The boy was playing the violin impressively well for his age according to Emma. After 2 hours Katie was so hungry she was eating dried bits of uncooked pasta off the table. And the relief when Emma scooped a huge pile of pasta onto her plate was evident. The pasta was really yummy and free (!), still not sure it was worth the 2 hour wait ...

    ... carry out the fining process with 4 girls who clearly couldn't understand him or maybe he realised by the time he'd sorted it out we'd be at Garda. Finding our hostel was easy using the signs they have usefully placed directing us to there. Wish every hostel was that easy to find. Still enough time to get very hot though.     ... the origin of the masons. On a sidewalk built by the masons you could see cut into one square the shape of two eyes. A sign that there was a Masonic temple there below ground. The guide mentioned the line of history of the masons even in the one dollar bill of the US. I was able to pull out a one dollar bill. My contribution to the Italian speaking group.     ... I decided to purchase my ticket for the opera and then my first seafood since our first night in Greece. As for the opera, what can I say. Fantastico! Stupendo!! You get the idea. Very unusual set design and a beautiful ballet to begin with the overture. Even understood some of the Italian and a spectacular ending with fireworks.
