Visit to Sacile

This morning we went to the markets at Sacile. Nadia and Mariella came with us. It is about half an hour away, rain held off and it actually became quite sunny at some intervals. Dinner was accentuated with noble local wines, and polished off with Massimo's special ...

No beads, no stuffed animals, no light-up hair things, no sparkly shoes, no painted coconuts. Just celebrations without "stuff." How un-American... Since we've only just had a taste Carnevale, we'll have to check it out again next year to see if our first impressions hold true. In the meantime, Buon ...
