I visit Sardinia for a few years, till one day a door opened in my path and I had the occasion to move in the Island. I went around searching for the right spot, till I found Sant'Antioco. Is the small city on the isle of the island. Sant'Antioco is the name of this small island and on it there are 2 small town, just right on the water. Those are Calasetta and Sant'antioco.

Dominating the site is a Nuragic tower. These are everywhere along the Sardinian coast are the monumental symbols of the island. These nuraghe are supposedly a mystery as to their function and the origins of the people who built them. There are 7000 of these towers still visible some as high as 20metres.

The weather is not hot, 30 degrees tops, it is windy, we've had rain at night, water temp is about 23 degrees and we are finding Sardinia to be an indifferent sort of a place. Well at least this corner is.
