Bus from Split to the Plitvice Lakes National Park. About 5.5 hours. Got off the bus at the park entrance about one o'clock and immediately met a lady who offered us accomodation at her place. Went through pag island today. Only island have ever seen which is basically rocks hardly ant vegetation. Is approx 40k long. Very harsh land but interesting. Then up what felt like 3ks in the air on a twisting road, my toes clutching the floor of the car on every inch. On our way to national park plitvice lakes tomorrow.
