Went through pag island today. Only island have ever seen which is basically rocks hardly ant vegetation. Is approx 40k long. Very harsh land but interesting. Then up what felt like 3ks in the air on a twisting road, my toes clutching the floor of the car on every inch. On our way to national park plitvice lakes tomorrow. So this past weekend Zack and I took another "fun" bus ride from Split to Pltivička Lakes. ... trail was 3-4 hours, but you don't get to see much of the upper lakes. Little did we know though as we tore for the trail, that we would complete it in 3.5 hours and could have slowed down a bit to really take in the scenery.
