After several unsuccessful attempts to find a lunch place that was both comfortably cool and accepted credit cards, we happened on the Zum Bogen Weinstuben. It was empty except for me and Chris. And the lone waiter was relieved soon after we arrived, leaving the owner (i asked her ...

I snapped a few photos around Colle Isarco, Italy but they do not do justice. We watched Germany gradually evolve into Italy. Everyone should take such a train trip, in the daytime.

We arrived in Bolzano about 8:30pm. It was still light and we found the hotel right away.
