... but we did venture off the beaten track for a day and hired ourselves a moped. Off we pootled up the coast, sunned ourselves on not 1 but 3 beaches, and found the most amazing caves I think we've ever seen. Coves d'Arta were first studied in the early 19th century, they were discovered many years before but never properly chronicled. 4Omin flight to Mallorca... This is it - relaxation in paradise. The hotel is great and we have half board so that is an extra plus. ... port but unfortunately, we would have had to wait another 20 minutes before they opened to the public. The prawns looked delicious.

Lunch was at a restaurant called Marisqueria Galicia. We all shared several entrees (pimientos di padrone, fried baby squid, squid rings, a tomato and onion salad, galician style pulpo (octopus) and a fish platter). It was all very tasty with ...

This morning we left Palma to go to Pollenca. We took the scenic north route starting from Andratx stopping in little towns a long the way. Going to Port de Valldemossa was the biggest mistake. It took fifteen minutes each way with hair raising turns (we actually hit the side of a wall once but luckily it was only the tire that hit it.) The road often was only wide enough for one car. As you went around turns you had to beep your horn to let people know you were ...
