... room. We decided to stay put and go to the Chinese restaurant in the hotel and then make an early night of it. The Chinese meal was fine although presented in a Japanese way with the fried rice coming last so we couldn't eat the sauce covered vegetables and meat with it to flavour it. When getting off the bus, I was assuming it would be freezing cold, but strangely it wasn't. It was quite pleasant. Honestly it was colder at the bus stop in Nagano while waiting for the bus.

After the magnificent crapulence of the Kawasaki Toyoko Inn breakfast yesterday, Charlotte and I didn't even bother going down this morning. Instead Veronica came to our room and did the majority of packing, and then took Angela and Isabelle down, while Charlotte and I stayed upstairs to pack the remainder of the electronics, and carry the bags downstairs.
