At first the road twisted and turned all the way along the edge of a mountain and finally came out at the summit which looked down into a great valley. One could follow the road for miles as it hugged the edge of the mountain and made its way to the valley floor below.

28.10.14 Left Vaile Di Caises this morning under a very heavy frost. Thought we would outsmart Bruce the navigator and avoid the Autostrada. It did work and he took us into the Dolomites over Cortina above the tree line with great views which you will see.
