... Italian knew as much English as I knew Italian. He tried to find out where we joined the Motorway and so I helpfully showed the map to the speaker but he no understand! Stalemate... We now had agitated drivers behind us too. EVENTUALLY a figure of 5.20 euros appeared on the screen and we dropped in the coins and we left! I think he gave up and just entered anything to get us to go. He probably blamed the stupid English whilst we blamed the fact that the only reason the ...

... for a chalet very soon! I know now why Alison & Gary love it here so much. Whilst we were at the top we had our packed lunch and Ellie fed the birds as well as herself. It was a weird mix of temperature up there, kind of hot and cold all at once. My Raynards Syndrome kicked in and my hands quickly turned a very pale weird colour, which looks even more strange with a bit of a tan. Once we had exhausted the photo opportunities we ...

... caused my palms to become sweaty & increases my heart rate by about a 100.

we met cars coming the opposite direction too..but by luck seemed to pass them at the hairpin bend where there was more generous passing place.

i think Jacob was a little anxious was quite challenging..especially with the 'paddock' turning circle of the GG.

stunning views if you could relax a bit to enjoy them!

    Training Day 4

Today before sailing we went to the bike shop and got some bikes. When we were on the water we were going downwind then up and tacked and then the vang broke. We tried to get Bully's attention but he didn't see us so we went to the other rib and Sam, Archies Dad, tied a knot so we could finish the training session. After sailing a few of us kids went back to the Coper's and then we went and had pizza together. Mum had dinner at Jill and Guy Abels with Chris.
