The beaches were quite gravelly, with lots of pebbles, great little taverna, and the water was so warm it was like being in a bath. After the coolness of the waters in Santorini and Mykonos, it was exceptionally nice to get in and have a float about in the near-waveless water.

Today we went on a hike through the hills to a small cove. Once we got there, we went snorkeling and saw tons of little fish. I had never been snorkeling before, so it took some getting used to breathing through the snorkel, but once I got the hang of it I had a lot of fun.
