... the interesting parts and the stories. So it was nice to go there but not mind blowing. I think we're all a little jaded from the barrage of cultural sights we've experienced in the last week or so. Probably the best thing was hearing from Lena about day to day life on Crete. How married couples are given houses by their parents, what age they marry, pregnancy out of wedlock is a precious baby and many Cretian brides walk down the aisle in their white dress ...
Fourth of July In Crete with no fire works :( Today we drove from Chania to Heraklion to our new hotel. The drive took two hour through some beautiful country side that reminded us of California, but without all of the people. ... kerb all day. Good to know.
So what can I say about Crete.

We were lucky that we got some very hot tips about where to eat while we were here. Not able to get to all the places on that list, but did get to at least three of them. And I also have to mention the breakfast food here at the hotel. What an amazing ...
