Let's start with the weather: it was sunny!! We had the weather that we packed for today much to our relief. We started the day by getting up at 9 and we were out of the hostel by 10. Someone is smoking in the next apartment and it is coming through our bathroom. Seems like almost everyone smokes in Europe. Not a habit we are planning to pick up. ... only a total of 21 riders. Until 2008, there could only be male riders, but now there are 4 women in their ranks. It takes about 12 years for a rider to be able to preform in a show. In order to demonstrate their knowledge, a rider has to train a stallion completely from scratch before they are allowed to preform.
