I was a little surprised at how bright it was at 4 in the morning, but it made it a little easier to drag ourselves out of bed and drearily walk to the Keleti train station. ... I then decided to walk the remainder of the way back to Wien Mitte! When I got back to the apartment I sat down to dinner with Veronika, Robert, Klara and Juliana. We had 'Kaiserschmarren' which is a form of broken up pancake, covered in apple/plum or so either form of sweet sauce. It was absolutely amazing and I really enjoyed it! Off to an early start with our hosts children up early for school, breakfast then off to drop the youngest child off to preschool and as Schoenbrunn Palace was nearby we got a lift as well.

The grounds are quite extensive and we were advised to start off at the bottom and walk up and it was a great suggestion as we walked through forested areas with lots of squirrels which we tried to take photos of but as you know with squirrels No food No photo.
