We stopped at the port of Corfu. The only way to really get around the island is to take an excursion. At least it was for us. We were going to see a Monastery in the village of Palaiokastritsa and to the village of Gastouri to visit the 19th century Achilleion Palace.
The places were very beautiful and again the excursions didn't disappoint ...
After catching a night ferry from Crete to Athens and spending a day getting myself sorted in Athens then next morning I left on the Busabout Balkan Trek. This trek went from Athens to Split stopping in Albania and Montenegro (as well as Bosnia for about 10 minutes).

I've put the menu in my photos, the lobster tails were really delicious and ...
... day of relaxation but not before I take myself on a little walk. Today I turned eight out of the hotel and up the hill on a narrow road, I don't think it is a road that has access as only 1 or 2 cars passed me. A couple of cyclists but they had to dismount as the hill got steeper.
I took my time admiring the view and could see the hotel swimming pool in the distance but no sign of David, he must be on the other side.
