    ... shops. We agreed to meet Nicola and Gerrard at 6.30 but by 5.30 we were exhausted! We met up and decided to go to a restaurant in the square but as it was getting quite cold we went upstairs. We shared a pizza and then had Weiner schnitzel. It was delicious and feeling contented and full we walked back to the hotel. We walked beside the river and we really enjoyed the stroll.     ... will be filled with various hikes. I'm easing him into to the idea of slight elevation gain rather than just heading to the top.

    The girls don't start school for another week, although we have a meeting with the teachers later this week. They aren't too sure how they feel about it yet - Sadie keeps saying she doesn't need new friends, she likes her old ones just fine.

    ... did so great, even the guides were impressed.

    I did participate in the less height (holy **** I might actually die) related activities. We hiked the paths around town and into the mountains, went to the community pool (down in the warm town at the base of the mountain). We took cable cars up to the top of a couple of area mountains to check out the views and we also did our favorite thing ever!
