After Trier, we had an easy time riding the train...then a boat down the the Mosel, then down the Rhine to Bacharach. I'll let the pictures do most of the talking, but we are still very relaxed, entertained, and loving the food and weather.

... 1 was so angry that he had a wall built between their castles so that he would not see or hear from him again. Time slowly marched on and brother #2's wife ran off with his best friend. The man was so distraught that he threw himself off of his castle wall to the rocks below. Sad ending to a sad story. The trip on the boat took over 3 hours so we decided to take the train back to Mainz as it takes 5 hours to return due to the strong current.

Had to buy Sophie a new pair of shoes as her old sandals were giving her blisters. Found this great kids shop and 60 euros later we were all happy!!!

... Americans are obsessed with the idea of it because you can go as fast as you want...but to them it's not a big deal and said that it's just another thing that Americans stereotype Germans with. Finally landing in FRA was awesome-- it literally looked like the Everett flight line and I felt right at home.
