... are out by the thousands, eating, drinking, smoking and connecting with their neighbors. Such a vital time at night. But with our long day we decided to just go out from 7:30 - 10:30pm then head back to our hotel and into bed. Chris' pedometer marked we walked 11 kilometers today. And now my feet feel like it. So happy to be here. Special thanks to Cliff and Sandy who gave a condensed version of Rome....as we are going to Florence ...

... you think you need to catch your breath, find something to take a picture of. The castle gardens at Heidelberg castle are just beautiful, at least at this time of year. They are mostly quite natural and wind their way around the castle itself. I imagine at the height of tourist season there must be people jostling everywhere. Now it was still easy to move around, stop to admire and take pictures, and we could still hear the birds around us. Plus the views over the valley were ...

... access to tanning beds, or a variety of massage features. The only way this Hyatt could improve would be to increase the twin bed size in the rooms and offer colder air conditioning. As a platinum Hyatt member, we did enjoy an upgraded river view room, the free wi-fi and, found that the staff was overly abundant and extremely helpful.

Overall, an excellent level three Hyatt property closer to a grade above. Can't wait for the Paris Vendome level seven Hyatt ...

At kilo 555, we see the Lorelei (Loreley) rock. 120m of rock face coming down inti the river. We swing around the rock in our cruise and past a statue on the riverbank commemorating the rock. There is a legend about a siren calling sailors to the deaths, which is probably related to the strong undercurrent in the river at that point.
