We headed to the Hamburg Hauptbahnhof to get tickets back to Braunshweig. We stopped in Hannover for 1 hour and we quickly walked through some of the shopping section. We were tired when we finally arrived so we hung out in my room for a while just relaxing. We hung out with all of the URI students in Weststadt and it was a lot of fun.

Sometimes we felt like we were the only people singing to even the German songs. After the 1,000 people practiced the choreographed dance (a shortened version) about 10 times and 4 hours later they finally filmed the real version for the show. I went to get coffee in the Schloss with Wendy then we shopped around for some costumes. Wendy was a Berliner Kindl kid which was so cute!! I was Mutti (a mom) apron, wooden spoon and bandaids. It was a beautiful day outside so Wendy and I decided to take a walk in the Nature conservatory area on the edge of the city. It took a long time to get there (40 minutes) but we walked around for about 2 hours and saw some beautiful landscape. It was nice to get away from the city and enjoy the Fall colors.

... there was a short breakfast and then Wendy and I went to go pick up our Visa's. We are now officially allowed to be in Germany for 1 year! We hung around Friday night and baked wurst in onions, cauliflower and peppers and also made mashed potatoes, it was amazing!!

Fun trip to VW plant in Wolfsburg. We took the Deutschen Bahn at the Hauptbahnhof for free since we are students. It was a short trip, only 25 minutes to the plant which is next to a canal for transportation purposes. We got a fantastic tour of the plant in cool cars that made it feel like an amusement park ride.

The Real Volkswagen Museum
This museum was probably the best museum I have ever been to in my life. It is starting to look a little run down from the outside. I think eventually they will move all the cars to the Autostadt museum. However, inside all the cars were awesome. I will let the ...

... The Skoda pavilion was under reconstruction. There is a car museum and learning centres showing how VW is learning and adapting to the changing climate both financial and ecological. The kids are really well catered for as well with a creche and minders to keep them happy.

There are several cinemas showing films on transport, social and ecological issues, and a simulator which takes you on a rapid bumpy virtual ride round the site.
