I wish I had had more time, had more of a chance to talk to people, and more of a chance to get in touch with the culture. Despite packing so many things into an afternoon, I really don't feel like I know Albania, or even just Shkodër, at all, and it is definitely a place that has piqued my curiosity! ... love locks (I seem to be chasing them around Europe!) and we went into the Frankfurter Dom (Frankfurt cathedral), which was an odd building. It was destroyed during the war and rebuilt in the next couple of years, so the walls were made of a solid orange plaster with white lines drawn on to look like bricks. It was quite surreal but very beautiful. We stopped in a cute little café and had milkshakes and hot chocolates, before heading towards ...
