... much dusting...One or two is best for me. After a long day of sightseeing in Cologne time to find the Cologne beer - which was not a problem at all - they have little pubs along the pedestrian area which runs about two blocks. Stopped at Papa Joe's...must be a kind of local hangout.. We found a window table onto the square so we could people watch. We saw two weddings...lots of tourists...a pug dog...a few ...

... tall narrow glasses, starting at 200ml - unlike their Bavarian cousins who start at 500ml!!

Before dinner we had a farewell Captains Cocktail Party on board followed by a Farewell Captain's Dinner (a 5 star 5 course dinner to die for). Afterwards there was a dance party in the lounge and membes of the crew joined in - great fun, & a few sore heads in the morning (not mentioning any names ...

... will never be finished because of the magnitude of the maintenance task - in fact two sides had scaffolding up to support the ongoing maintenance program. It's front facade covers 750 sq metres and has 10,000 sq metres of lead light windows. It suffered 14 direct bomb hits during the war but was rebuilt.
