Last night we shared our campsite with the lesbian society of Germany (they had flags), however they weren't the problem the odd couple pitched next to us were snoring louder than a Boeing 747 so we decided to spend most of the night sleeping outside our tent due to the extreme snorers also the 30 degree heat which didn't seem to drop until about 2am. ... took the very sweaty tram back into Koln for some sightseeing around the cathedral which Elly very much enjoyed whilst I checked out the cathedrals pews, luckily she didn't manage to see the downstairs section and I distracted her whilst the people in front of us went down the stairs. The cathedral was too much excitement so we went and grabbed a local gelato before returning to the campsite for a dip in the Rhine to cool off and enjoyed a beer in the sun. ... that Germany is the highest consumer of chocolate behind the USA. Of course we tried some and left the shop with little parcels. After this we walked around some of the old part of the city to arrive at the square and the cathedral. ... Nav we were off. Everything was fine for a while and then... she (yes Sat-Nav is a person) told us to get off the A1, then she rerouted back onto the A1, then shortly after took us off again, each time taking valuable time that we didn't have.
