        Moin, Hamburg!

... the Landungsbruecken at the haven. Unfortunately I had to notice that the Fischmarkt is only opened on Sunday mornings, so I had to skip my favorite part. Nevertheless I moved on to the Elbphilarmonie and the HafenCity where a very pretty university is located. I continued to Sternschanze where I looked at a huge tv tower. ...

I'm sat in the theatre, peering cautiously through a fierce haze of hot sparks currently pattering down from the ceiling and, by pattering, I more mean flying uncontrollably in all directions. Ignoring the obvious downside of rehearsing directly next to a six metre-high shower of hot metal flakes, I am filled with tremendous hope. Yep, as suspected it was a sleep in for Lyndon this morning (11:00am!!!) while I on the other hand was fresh as a daisy. So although we had planned to go into town to do some more sightseeing we spent pretty much all day hanging around the house. Poor Annette will be glad to see the back of us tomorrow.

In what seemed like no time at all it was time to pick Mali up, so Lyndon and I headed off, on the way home getting Mali to show us a few of the local haunts such as her hockey grounds. It ended up being a very funny trip as Mali kept getting us lost, even turning us into a street that was very quickly a dead-end. The excuse was that she is usually on a bike and it all looks different when directing in a car but we were having none of that. Clearly she is just much ...

... Another delicious meal! Simmo got the pork knuckle again and I got a pork steak. The atmosphere here is so nice, everyone is so friendly. You walk in and instantly feel like you are in a different place. We headed home early so we didn't miss the last bus and hung out with our roomie for a while with a few drinks. During the day on Friday we just did some washing. We wanted to have a cruisy day as we were doing Reeperbahn that night. This is the kings cross of Hamburg... Lots ...
