... a holiday, they were all closed. As it is not the best area of town, we opted to head home and find food there. Naturally, when you don't need a cab, there are tons honking at you to see if you want a ride, and when you do want one, they are nowhere to be seen! We woke up pretty early and headed to a small fishing village called Taganga. We were told this beach was absolutely stunning (but we were also told this about Santa Marta). Although this town is only 5 kms from Santa Marta it took us about 90 minutes to get there.
