... actually arriving in this beautiful city. A couple of "S" and "U" -Bahns (metro) later, I arrived in my new home. "Studentenwohnheim Stiftsbogen". All was overwhelming ar first but getting to know my new flat mates and having a look around eased the nerves. I suppose that's normal :)

My room is nicand big, a bit empty but sure I can change that. I'm on the ground floor with a huge window to the outside ...

Prisoners would walk into camp (ground level of the monument footpath), be stripped of all rights and dignity (lowest level of the monument footpath) and then be released when the camp was liberated by the US forces (back at ground level again). For once we actually prepared to go away for a long trip (month) and finished all of our projects and packing two days before we left.  Beverly Lynne was planning to live in the house while we were gone, so we wanted to leave her a nice place to be, with minimal issues to deal with.  Thus, as far as boats went, Esprit de Mer had to go up on the hard (into a boat yard on stands), the cover had to be completed for the fishing boat and the dinghy and engine ...

... 90% of the bus trying to recover from Oktoberfest. Our guide chose three really good movies, so the time actually flew by. It was such a fun trip and I would do it all over again if I was given the opportunity too. But it's good to be home (still weird to call Florence my home) and be able to sleep in my OWN bed again! This weekend was definitely unforgettable and I'm glad I could check "OKTOBERFEST" off of my bucket list! Until next time, fellow followers! PROST!

... same then we looked around and Sarah had turned into Sleeping Beauty! We woke her, she opened her eyes for a bit then just fell asleep again!! So Maddie being an amazing friend decided it was time to take her home.. I hear that she got a second wind on the way home so they had a beer or two at a pub on the way home.
