We started our day with a 22km white water raft ride and needless to say, they tried to kill me with safety. ... had swum out and proceeded to get on several of the pieces only to get the attendant's whistle. It took them a while, but they eventually realized that he was not whistling at them because they were getting on or off wrong, but because they had not paid for wristbands. So beach access was free, but everything else required an extra fee, kind of like flying coach.

... up out of concrete beaches. So, while we had an excellent meal at a local seafood restaurant, the boys were already beginning to discuss what they like about the beach in North Carolina. I think we were getting some serious homesickness vibes. The only thing that seemed to bring joy to them was the plate loaded with fresh mussels, Blake's new favorite drink 'Cockta', and the thought that there might still be a beach to be found tomorrow.
... are two buses, one goes via the villages and ours via the camps. We had learnt that lesson from a fellow camper who got the wrong one and had to walk a reasonable distance to back home. We were very thankful for his advice.
