... they seemed to lose their way in design at that time.

We finished the tour, a little leg weary, with lunch in the quite nice Mercedes-Benz Restaurant before perusing the shop - again nothing that quite ticked all the boxes for me :). We hopped back onto the bus and finished the city tour which had a quite interesting, if not a little kitsch, dialogue between an older man describing the sites and history of the city to his grand ...

... We then had many many predrinks and got introduced to looping Louie, who by the way is not a friend of mine! Night life was ppl just partying in the streets, it's all a bit cloudy is all we will say about that.... :p Flight to Budapest was the roughest I have ever experienced. Good thing for puke bags. Now we are in our party hostel, baths tonight woo! Hope my liver will survive this city, if not perhaps I can find one on the black market, this is Eastern Europe right? ...

The museum had a corresponding exhibition that featured Udo Lindenberg, a famous German rock musician and sometime artist. Apparently he was also a Porsche fanatic and there were many ties between his work and the Porsche. Not my cup of tea, but interesting German social history nonetheless.

We did also do a little walking around the city area of Stuttgart, and despite being a manufacturing city of over 600,000 people had some excellent park and garden ...

Today we got a late start due to a late afternoon flight from Amsterdam to Stuttgart, Germany. We completed a quick hotel check in at the airport then boarded a train for a half hour ride to Stuttgart City Center. The train station for city travel is located in the airport but everything is on a different level. Some are for inner city travel, outer zone areas, and regular long distance trains.

... using as picnic blankets. Phil needs a coffee and I need to go potty so we walk to the dunny, when we get in there I shut the door and sit down. As Phil goes to the urinal, the man in the cubicle next to me unleashes the mother of all explosive poos. I left to find Phil waiting for me and he looks at me and says “So….. was that you with the explosive start”

We get back to the picnic rug and relax in the sun doing puzzles and playing UNO. We head home ...
