      ... those who don't surf just strip off and sunbathe in the nude in this park. Lunch in Viktualienmarkt, an outdoor gourmet market in the city centre followed by a drink in the Hofbrauhaus where you can see Bavarian men in traditional dress, often with interesting facial hair. Fortunately we just missed Octoberfest, which saw 7 million visitors in town, who drank on average 10litres of beer each, combined I'm sure with a lot of bad behaviour.

      ... grab breakfast, so our friend gave us a granola bar to split...definitely not enough food to hold us over for the festivities today.       We arrived in Munich and quickly went to baggage claim only to realize our bags never came. We talked to a guy who worked there and figured it was all sorted out.       ... steins to the beat of the music. Michael appeared to have planned ahead with his attire (even though his choice of shirt was a fluke...he had very few items of clothing to choose from after all) since all the men were wearing similar small checker patterned shirts to pay homage to the Bavarian flag and culture. I on the other hand did not fit in with my finest North Face get up, but I didn't feel compelled to drop 100 Euro on a odd fitting so-called sexy beer maiden outfit. ...
