... accent. We purchased a couple of tinnies and came back to the room to chill out. A guy had moved into the flat called Leo he was from Sweden so we had a chat to him for a while. Whilst sitting on the balcony the biggest rain storm I have ever seen came in and hit Penang so hard. It was incredible. Went back to Long Beach food court to eat, taking Leo with us. Yesterday we took a 101 bus to the Jetty in Georgetown to book our tickets on the train to Kuala Lumpur. We did this last year and thoroughly enjoyed it even though it takes 6 hours. We booked First Class and because we are both over 55 it cost about $25 Australian,return each.You cannot complain about that!. Darwin for the last two days was nice, but not really that exciting. I must have forgotten to write entries for these days. I cant even find any photos to post from it. I spent a couple days in a back packers. Chatted to some guys around the pool who had also been on the Contiki trip that i am going to do. Got some good tips I think.
Day trips were pretty limited and disappointing. Still miffed ...

... drumming, dancing and fireworks you will ever see. The temples and streets of Georgetown were absolutely packed full of people from all walks of life enjoying the celebrations. LOUD does not begin to describe the cacophony of music, shouting, singing and firecrackers that welcomed us into the year of the horse.
