The ladies toilets have a queue a mile long. Melinda and I used the men's toilets. There was no one in there and there was a lady cleaner....she nodded si, si, and in we went. Using our toddler as an excuse we hurriedly clamber inside and fill some bags with as much as we could carry. The candy was unlike any candy we had seen before, the photos will prove this! We leave the store and venture onwards trying to find a gelato store that was ranked highly on trip ...

I've spent the past week in a small 'retirement/beach resort' type town called Saint Raphael with my crazy but cool uncle, very pregnant auntie and sweetie cousins. It's been sunny and warm half the time... The other half, rather rainy... But still better than Duesseldorf! And pretty good for autumn.

Mostly playing with the kiddies and hanging with my Frenchy partner in crime (also featured in 2011/12 summer NZ and Amsterdam adventures). ...
