... The scenery in this part of the coast was fantastic. The road is built up high and goes through over 100 tunnels. It has the effect of low flying and the views are wonderful.....blue, blue sea, snow on the mountains and small towns and villages dotted through the landscape. Andrews trigger finger was going wild! We did as we were told but ...

... much. Arriving in Nice, we walked straight to the hostel, a close 200m from the beach. Bought some groceries from the supermarket just below, and some cheap juice. Cooked rice, sausages, tomatoes, capsicum and mushrooms. Also shared some cheese and ...

Frenchy Family time

I've spent the past week in a small 'retirement/beach resort' type town called Saint Raphael with my crazy but cool uncle, very pregnant auntie and sweetie cousins. It's been sunny and warm half the time... The other half, rather rainy... But still better than Duesseldorf! And pretty good for autumn.

Mostly playing with the kiddies and hanging with my Frenchy partner in crime (also featured in 2011/12 summer NZ and Amsterdam adventures). ...
