Today was going to be relaxing, no excuses. We cycled into
Sion and caught a train up to the tourist center of Zermatt which is famous for
its amazing view of the Matterhorn.

The train trip was uneventful and we sat back like rich
people watching the scenery go by from air-conditioned comfort. One change of

... of the Matterhorn. This route took us via the town of Heremence
which is a typical Swiss mountain village with the usual pretty chalets and

This is the language border of Switzerland where ...

Our hostel for the night had some very strange rules about boys and girls staying in separate rooms, no alcohol, crazy noise curfews and keeping our keys and security cards with us at all times. Anyway, we dropped our stuff then Kelly walked us into town, where we checked out the Glockenspiel, then we picked up our bikes for a tour of the city. We split in ...

So I have kind of been toying with going paragliding while I am here. Never really done anything 'EXTREME' like this, even though it really isn't very extreme at all. Some others at the hotel were doing it, and I always love to succumb to peer pressure, so I went for it! Just kidding, there was no pressure involved, but it sure sounded enjoyable. Tim, the guys who runs the hotel, paraglides all the time, and was discussing how safe it is. And they were able to ...
