... still not a cloud to be seen. Did have a minute to do a quick spot of shopping ...**** shops shut 12-2 ..great so grab this amazing kaftan I needed it but couldn't resist ...never seen one like it. Switzerland the home of army knives, cuckoo clocks, watches, chocolate , Swiss alps, giant pretzels, and all those weird sausages !! Hehe ... ... Our first stop in Switzerland was the beautiful Lucerne. We went to a Swatch watch and Swiss Army knife shop, then we got some free time. It's such a beautiful, clean and expensive city. An hour wasn't enough time! Then we got back on the bloody bus for another 2 hour drive to our accommodation in the Swiss Alps. ... It was gross and uncomfortable. Of course this very basic meal cost about $30 which is ridiculous! But before I even ate, I went and purchased a better jacket. It was worth every penny. I found one for a reasonable price, but there were basic north face parkas which were selling for about $400 here which is just mind boggling.
