... 5km tunnel and emerged at Lake Maggoori before entering Italy a second and last time. We stopped for a late lunch at Ill Crotto del Lago on Lake Lugano for lunch. A real find! We then carried on to Occussio finally locating our quaint third floor cottage with a beautiful view of Lake Como from our balcony. ... We decided on a restaurant with a grand view of Juangfrau and the surrounding mountains. We all ate a huge meal: Sara had veal with mushroom sauce, David had a pizza, Pat had hash browns with ham and an egg, and I had pork steak in butter sauce with a salad. ... stop raining, we went out for an evening walk around the town.

That is all I have to report. It has been a slow day, but we managed to stay up for all of it. It is 8:30pm now, and we are going to go to bed. I am praying that we will get our first full night of sleep since starting out. I think that would do wonders for us, whether or not we get to see the mountains.
