... restaurant. Also a very nice and cozy iglu. In total we were a nice group of 15 people. After dinner we went on a small snow shoe hike with great view down to Zermatt, Matterhorn with moon and zillions of stars and of course another small drink. What an experience! Back at the village we went to the heated wooden bar. At around 10:30pm we jumped into the jacuzzi. This was dynamite! Sitting in the hot pool, being astonished by all these ...

We even find a mini putt, so we bought two tickets and did our 18 holes. ...

... we first traveled to the pyramid mountain Niessen, where we ascended 2336m in a funicular. There were some stunning views from the top and a very pleasant restaurant and gift shop for souvenirs. Following our descent we then made our way to the lake side town of Spiez, which was beautiful in the heat of the day- a perfect ice cream stop. We then enjoyed a cruise of Lake Thun providing lovely views again of the ...

... laid out, much in line with my guide book's description of being an easy trail. However, halfway in, it took a severe turn for the worse. I thought CT had been a tough go, but this was beyond anything like that! At least in CT I actually had a trail, this hike had stretches were there wasn't even a trail, just rocks painted with red and white stripes I would gingerly pick my way towards and then scan the landscape for the next such marker. And in the ...
