      ... mum landed at 11 thinking that would give me plenty of time to get over there whilst mum got through passport control. After I had joined 2 wrong queues for the airport rail link and managed to get myself over to the airport mum had been waiting for 45 minutes because her flight got in early whoops! I think we were both expecting some big reunion with me meeting her, which still was the case but just happened that she met me! It was lovely to see her again though after 6 months! ...

      Today we got off to a slow start - morning on the Ganges, a look at a Jain temple, then onto the road for what should have been a relatively easy drive. We got caught at a number of train crossings, in one political rally in a city, and got dead-ended at an unfinished bridge, so arrived in Corbett National Park at sunset.
