    Race Day

A travel blog entry by legoodtimesroll on Jul 10, 2015

... After a celebratory drink we made our way back to the bus stop and managed to buy some tickets this time. The younger generation slept the whole journey , anyone would have thought they had done a triathlon. We stocked up at the supermarket with BBQ food and more beer, before returning back to base camp. As usual Duncan was in charge of an excellent BBQ and I wrongly thought we had bought too much food and drink. Evening games ended a very successful day ...

... stocked. We returned to Geneva in the afternoon by which time the roads had been shut so an enormous traffic jam made it slow progress but eventually we parked the car and Graham racked his bike and went for a practice swim. ... were doors with glass inset patterns or full blown glass doors of various types! Quite fancy doors definitely a lot of thought put in to them. Interesting the thought put into them. Some might say it's just a door. Small part of the whole house. Silly to put more money needed into it for such a small portion the house. I like it and think it's a great idea! I mean it is the first thing some sees when they come to visit you. I wouldn't hate ...

    Day 3: Bonn

A travel blog entry by alanad.abroad on Jun 03, 2015

Today we decided to go check out the old part of Bonn. So we decided to head out again with Phil. We said good bye to Phil on the train and he headed to his UN meetings. We rode the train a few more stops.

We got off the train and made our way to the old Bonn. It's really beautiful. The area looks like what I think of in regards to German architecture. Not too far from the metro stop is ...
