I didn't see anything particularly stunning that makes their water better than anywhere else, but it is a nice town at the foot of the mountains and was worth a visit. Next stop, back into France to Champagne. :-)

The lake is so beautiful, nestled between the mountains and the city. The fresh air and feeling of openness that ...

Suffered through the tedious security and immigration processes which Geneva airport has crafted into a form of travel torture which only the most determined survive. It took us 30 minutes in a secondary queue just to join the start of the queue to go through security.

Regardless we got through and after a long wait in Amman and then overnight in Hong Kong we arrived home. ...

... link the two. Some of the bridges are pedestrian only while others make you share with the cars.........and what cars! Porsches, Ferraris, and even a gilded Lamborghini....middle eastern plates of course. Very high dollar neighborhood!!! Until we walked a bit further into the old town, even the hamburgers were $20.00. We had a nice glass of rose d'Anjou and split a croque monsieur at an outdoor cafe and then continued ...
