    ... to see in Switzerland...SNOW everywhere...villages on the side of mountains, snow on leaves of pine trees!!! Photos were a real challenge through the glass windows...reflections everywhere...very frustrating!!! Managed to get a few I can use. Highest point...Oberalppass...2033m...up here it was just white everywhere!! One more day in the alps tomorrow...Zermatt...up to Europe's highest ...

    ... when we were here over 15 years ago. We had found the way up the mountainside to the villages above the valley to be very very steep and quite the workout when on foot.

    ... array of fruit and veg at local supermarkets that day, I couldn’t resist delving into the delights of ALDI. Inside, I found muesli bars for the first time in Switzerland, ‘Swiss’ chocolate for 50p and a can of Weissbeir for even less. It was going to be a classy evening.

    ... more than 20m. We indulged in a beef soup for lunch, it was that or curry. I think the owner of the restaurants were Indian as it was 'self service' curry, or the Bollywood restaurant. Just an observation there. We spent the best part of the day up on the highest point in Europe, and headed the slow and steep journey home, with our paid for tickets! It was just a quick stop here, and tomorrow we are heading to Munich. Staying in a 40 bed dorm...oh errrrr, saved 10€ though! ...

    ... the windows wide to let in the fresh mountain air and waved to those going up the mountain in the cable cars :P We had to laugh at mums poor excuse for a pillow which appeared to be hard bits of foam put in a pillow slip that made the lumpiest of pillows we’ve ever seen.
