After Trier, we headed to Cologne to see the cathedral. Cologne is a big city and we had a heck of time finding the parking and then lugging our stuff into the hotel--a little stressful :). ... a museum, but a family home of sorts, if you can call a castle which housed over a 100 family members requiring several hundred servants a "home." It really put things into perspective.

Being a Monday we missed out on Bonn's many museums but that will give us an excuse for visiting the girls again!
