          Bit of a disturbed night as hotel room very hot so we needed to open the window but we were downtown and opposite a popular venue where the charms of the barmaids seemed to be on display and readily available. The noise from the ribald patrons wafted through the open window. Des slept soundly on his one good ear blissfully unaware that Jane was receiving perfect reception in both ears.
