... Anyway Sandy had the chicken, salad and chips and a cup of tea, I had the ribs and red wine. We wandered past Anne Frank's house and will go back tomorrow for a visit. ... br> Out of all the days on this trip these last two days really have been the hardest. Yesterday doing 400 miles did not seem too hard but the 250 or so miles today really was mighty hard work and sitting there in the restaurant my body just wanted to keel over and sleep.

Lunch eaten it was now time to go join the cars waiting to board the ferry. At least today the weather was good and i did not have to stand in the pouring rain such as at Venice.

Following this we went to the Body Worlds exhibition which is a project that was started by Dr Gunther von Hagens. This particular project works around the theme of Happiness and displays what is essentially real dead human bodies which have been plastinated in different positions eg. running, jumping etc. Its absolutely incredible to see what he has done ...

Big day today. Two POEM procedures in the morning. Under GA, with CO2. Patients are all in an RCT of Pneumodilatation versus POEM. Pre procedure liquid diet for 2 days then clear fluids for 24hours. Chlorhex mouthwash and instilled.
Procedures both approx 1hr 15min. Second case performed in part by a staff member doing her first case. 3 o'clock position 12cm ...
