So the last day of our holiday.. we again had breakfast downstairs at the hostel and then packed up all our bags, put on our togs, vacated our rooms and went back to the beach.
We hired more deck chairs and umbrellas and then made ourselves most at home for the day. I think the only time we left the beach was to get ice cream and George and I went for lunch at a tapas place.
I even had a ...
... looking at all the mini buildings. We even managed to get in a shandy in the sun!
After the architecture museum we caught the bus to the Castell de Capdepera which is a fortress on a great viewing point of the island- we enjoyed the views, read about famous Spanish people who had been imprisoned there and generally ****** around.

... Anyway, we were lucky enough to have a four berth sleeper cabin which meant that we were sorted for the accommodation for the night (we originally thought we would be sleeping in chairs!)
We spent some time up on deck before and during take off and really enjoyed the difference a boat journey gave us- I mean I have taken sleeper trains in China but never a sleeper boat!
And even better- in the morning we would be in Mallorca at the beach!
... despite some poor man hurling up his guts, I managed to keep hold of my lunch - I'm getting quite good at this boat malarky…don't go getting any ideas though Alex!!
As the week drew to a close, we admired our fresh tans (I still can't believe I'm tanned at all…), our sun kissed hair (mine now has a set of 3 corn rows as well as the bleach dye from Thailand), and thought about the next stop on this colossal trip - Rome! Gracias y adios Espana!
