    The 23hour train journey to Udaipur was split up by an over night stop in Indore. On arrival we were disappointed as it turned out to be another busy city lacking character or anything of interest to us.

    ... people took it in turns to walk within the lines towards the pot and egged on by the crowd - or distracted by the cheats in the crowd - gage when you have walked far enough and smack the pot with a big stick. Hopefully you break it and share the gifts inside.

    ... as ridiculously fun as every book on deaf studies says it is: dancing, story telling, watching bollywood novellas, henna: awesome!). Definitely not ready to call those adventures and living the life of a local (who happens to be white) quits and go back to being a bog standard traveller in Goa just to lie on a beach with some westerners (or alone ...), being all western but just in nicer surroundings as I'm sure ill be doing pretty much constantly this year ...
