... a bit scary as traffic was fast, but not heavy), then up through the hills to Mesohori where I stopped for a drink at the taverna and ordered a taxi from Pylos to take me on to kalithea. Why did I do all this? Well - to see the countryside, to exercise, because there are no taxis in Methoni during siesta time, and I did not want to call one out! I arrived later than intended at the factory and my olives were already in the processing tanks.
