So Teplice Nad Metuji wasnt originally on our list but we'd heard that the rocks (Teplice Skaly) were not to be missed and so we packed our bags and off we trundled. Teplice is on the North East coast of Czech not too far from the Polish Border ‐ when we went it was COLD!

We had fun trying to spot the formations in the rocks! Towards the end there was 300 steps we could walk up ...

The place was amazing, really something, that you never had seen before (perhaps). You can choose where you want to walk, how far and how long. We didn't have any plan, no map we just trusted our intuition. So ...

    • The Elephant Square. Itīs one of the gorges having the inverted microclimate (very favorable for the “cold” flora). It got its name after many elephant heads that are surrounding the gorge.
