We have finally left the countries we are comfortable in and visited our first new country for a while – the Czech Republic. Whilst it isn't a first visit for MJ, who caused havoc in a drink tour with Di Sinden in 2008, it was Nick’s first visit.


And again, we had the good fortune to have met a local in our travels, who was looking forward to playing tour-guide for us. We met Zdenek last year when we visited the Bastogne Museum ...

... and out over time. We went for a walk into the forest which took about 3 hours looking at the various rocks which are said to look like certain things. It was quite cool to think we were actually walking on the ocean floor, and we were reminded of this as the path we walked along was covered in sand. We had fun trying to spot the formations in the rocks! Towards the end there was 300 steps we could walk up ...

... a bit lost, but we reached a pathway which was marked as yellow, but was pretty dangerous, between rocks, sometimes really high sometimes getting down.. It was amazing and a crazy good work-out :) Sadly we didn't take nothing serious to eat, so after 5 hours hiking (intense hiking) we were pretty tired. But we were sleeping in amazing old Camden, beds were comfortable and much fresh air, so everything was just simply fantastic!

... meeting each other over there, however, we believe that it must have looked like if a lot of red ants are coming back to the anthill :) Even though everybody had to climb with his bike pushing it up to the hill since it wasn´t possible to ride it (the surface was too steep and slippery), it seemed that our way was the worst :)

After reaching the top we went to the city of Broumov where the Benedictine monastery is situated from the 13th ...
