Brought brekky this morning at the Cologne railway station because we discovered they have lovely yogurt and muesli. Then we went shopping. Found unbelievable bargain at a 5* Hotel. & couldn't resist. To put it into context the breakfast cost 50% of the room rate! We didn't have breakfast! Even better, parking was also extra but as GG was too tall for their underground car park, we had to park with the smart cars in front of the Hotel at no charge. Hilarious!

The first ...

    Guten abend,

It's 31 degrees here at 9pm. So you could say it's rather warm. Had a couple of insane thunderstorms in the past nights, with more forecasted. Cool. Apparently it's not usually this warm in these parts. I ain't complaining that it's more than twice the temperature in Auckland.

So aside from adjusting to my new life here nothing too exciting has happened.

    Stuff that I've been ...
