Had breakfast at Hotel then went up to see Linda and say goodbye to Wolfgang. Jan then drove us into Saarbrucken for the day as he had to spend time with Linda making arrangements for the funeral. Walked around the lovely St Johann Market Place with pretty shops and restaurants and down along the river bank. Jan picked us up and back to our hotel. Later we went out to a nice Italian restaurant for dinner. Had an early night to bed as we were still ...
... it currently stays as is. We will see what the morning brings. Send M-L off as the forward scouting party, the restaurant just up the hill and around the corner, she arrives back with the news - closed. There is another sign at this marina for a restaurant and they come and pick you up so we decide this option will do - closed. Today is a Tuesday and they are all closed Monday and ...

They really do sound like the cuckoos on cuckoo clocks! Verzy is also in the middle of the grape ...
... water as we may well do a couple of day’s wild mooring with no facilities. Isi had tidied up the inside as it had been so hot neither of us had energy to do the smallest of things. We have loads of leaflets given to us and they mount up e.g. Saarbrucken we were given a welcome pack of 6 booklets ranging from the city guide to cycling routes. They build up so Isi had called for a purge, big time to be done ASAP as we are running out of space to keep them.
