That was quite a long flight! The time difference has me confused about the length of the flight, but here in Germany it is just before noon on April 14th. I had a good time, in spite of the long plane ride. I watched Interstellar for part of it, read my Bill Nye book, and reflected a bit. And when we landed, I got my first passport stamp! Every New Year there is a Neujahrsumzug parade followed by a huge party on Rosenmontag and they have been celebrating Karneval here for almost 200 years.
