... the hotel which was a soup to start which was just as welcomed as last nights soup, followed by a roar lamb and gravy with a type of noodle and vegetables, and finished off with a black cherry Forrest cake. Mainz was more of a stopping off point. Only one day here. Insight tours arranged a buffet dinner for us at the hotel which was a nice surprise. It was definitely one of the nicest dinners with a very nice spread of delicious foods. We did get a walking tour of the cities historical center in the morning before we left. ... back into the train to Mannheim. The day started catching up with me and I took a nanna nap in the train.

Arriving at Mannheim Hauptbahnhof just after 6pm, we were finally back at home before 7pm and happy that we could finally relax. Catching 3 different trains just to get home isn't the most convenient, but it is much cheaper and gives you the opportunity to explore some places along the way!

... out with her head covered! It took under 2 hours to arrive at our hotel here in Mainz, which was deep in a residential area on a dead end road. No lift, but only one flight up, so mom did okay.
