Our accommodation is in the old town and is a very spacious apartment - bathroom, dining room, kitchen and bedroom. A great choice! We quickly unpacked and spruced ourselves up and off to explore. Then went back onto the bus to the top of Meissen hill. We hadn't even seen the hill when we arrived as it was hidden in the fog, but finally the sun had come out!!! Walked with our guide Zabina, first up the hill to see the Cathedral and palace, and then down 111 steps into the market ...

... heated ceramic floors for a heating system which is really quite different and nice to keep our toes warm. Heading out in a bit to the town square where we saw some delicious looking pizza being served at a restaurant; it's nice out right now so a good day to eat out.

One funny thing we have noticed is how some Germans seems to be rather conformists. There is a line of clothing called Jack Wolfskin (I looked it up on wikipedia and ...
