    ... its summit in clear weather, as the last time we tried it was very foggy and we could not see a thing. Today was completely different. Upon our arrival there were some barriers near the entrance to the walking path with signs that probably said the path was closed.     Upon our return to Haselbourg, the kids took us to a park they discovered on Saturday and we had some fun playing on the zip line, see-saw and fort.

    ... area called Port de Plaisance. This 312km long canal comprising of 155 locks connects the river Marne near Paris with the Rhine River in Strasbourg providing Paris with a link to eastern France. It was iced over this afternoon and we all spent time bouncing rocks on the ice and then finally, had a competition who could break the ice. Kate won this with a huge rock that she found nearby.
