Day 23 Munich to Austria Tyrol

A travel blog entry by victoriatravels on Jul 25, 2015

Another early start to get back to Austria today so we could fit in White water rafting and paragliding. I was a bit nervous of the rafting with the tattoo. But in the end it was ok.

This optional was loads of fun, we were given wetsuits, helmets etc and were divided up into our groups of 9 to a raft. Our leader was Scottish and was alot of fun. After hearing the safety speech and an explanation of the different commands we all had to go into the water ...

... 1 200crown for the next two days (Tip: when exhanging your euros do it with someone else and put your money together, the more money you change the better the deal you get).

    Anyways ...

I worried about what goes on behind the scenes knowing how much cruelty was out there, but these horses were so relaxed and so relaxed ...

MONDAY: We've had a wonderful couple of days in Vienna with Lisi and her family and I've felt very fortunate to have their friendship and hospitality. I've also really appreciated and enjoyed having a comfy big home and back yard to walk around in; sometimes it's the little things that make a big difference. I think the small confines of a hotel room are starting to have me feeling a little cooped up and claustrophobic at times, and ...

    Day 18 Venice to Vienna

A travel blog entry by victoriatravels on Jul 20, 2015

Vienna is the capital of Austria so this was an exciting day for us as it was a new country again.

Ill start by saying I want to live in Austria. It is so incredibly beautiful. As we drove through the countryside I kept wanting to take photo after photo,. The farms were stunning, the houses were like something out of a post card. Wooden Chalets with flower boxes giving splashes of colour from their ...
