... everyone gets on the mountain via one of two chair lifts or the t-bar for the beginner slope, this ski area must always have lines at the bottom. There were a lot more beginners (and more snowboarders) on the slopes today, so everyone seemed a little less rude and more tolerant of us - at least in my opinion, Laura will have to weigh in from her perspective. We started the day with a family run down the run we focused on for Friday. At the bottom, neither boy ...

It was a glorious, sunny morning for our 40 minute drive up the valley to the ski area. I didn't mention yesterday that in typical fashion for us, we kind of put off making hotel reservations until pretty late, so we didn't pick a ski area so much as found a good hotel and then found the closest ski area to the hotel. ... So we walked to the end and back, we thought we were alone but know there were a steady stream of walkers out and about. Had lunch and the took the daredevil bus ride to the castle, narrow road, cliffs and fangio driving. Walked around up top to the Marien Bridge and Neuschwanstein Castle we did not do a tour as we have done that previously. Walked down after having bought two hot donut type snacks made with cream cheese inside, very tasty. Back to the room exhausted, then ...

      A gorgeous Abbey awaited us!

... and coffehouses have a timeless appeal and the Steiner Tor, the only remnant of the old city wall is one of highlights of the city. The "Art Mile of Krems" extends from the historic town center to the medieval village center of Stein, highlighting museums, concert venues and restaurants along the way. While we rested, Orrean and Barb walked into town and were surprised to see all the industry as well. They reported that it was a much bigger and busier town than ...
