Zu meinem Abi habe ich eine Spiegelreflexkamera bekommen :D Ich kann gar nicht beschreiben, wie sehr ich mich darüber freue. Danke nochmal! Ich habe dieses Wochenende schon ein paar Fotos aufgenommen, aber es wird noch eine ganze Weile dauern, bis wirklich gute dabei herauskommen. Aber für das Jahr in Neuseeland ist die Kamera einfach perfekt!

Finally some free time =)
Today was my last school day, so now I've got some free time to organize my trip. Most of it is already done though. I've got my Visa, an international driver's license, passport and my backpack is heavy already ;-) It is interesting to decide what you need so badly that you're willing to carry it with you for a whole year...and it would be much easier if there weren't any seasons in New Zealand^^

... super tho' but the police arrived near the end of our meal and told them to turn it down - guess it echoes in this small town or someone grumpy complained. Thought the restaurant was being robbed - they were so serious about it!! Dogs even given bowls of water in the restaurant - Rich actually admitted he was warming up to getting a pooch!! Charcoal will have a friend!!
Off to sleep - tired but a good tired.

Saturday's walking tour of Berlin ended at the train station. We headed to Chemnitz, where Joy lives! It's between a two- and three-hour trip, including a transfer in Leipzig. Once, we got in, we dropped our bags at Joy's apartment and used the remaining daylight to walk around the city.
