    ... Bratislava Castle, which overlooks the whole city. Luckily, the walk was rather uphill and we warmed up as we went. The view was incredible and the air was perfectly autumn-fresh. We ambled around in the nearby parks, went into the beautiful St. Martins Church and into the old town to enjoy the evening and take pictures. The city centre is even more beautiful at night and is very quiet and peaceful.

    ... locals all seem to dress in a very comfortable fashion-conscious manner.
    We had lunch at a little side-walk restaurant, had a couple of beers when the going got tough (it was supposedly 30C) and finally had a snack and caught the train to get us home again by about 21.30.
