... visited the Technical a Museum of Speyer, which would be a fabulous place for children and was quite busy today, being the Easter Monday holiday. There are thousands of exhibits from the history of technology. There are aircraft including a Boeing 747 where you can walk out on the wings, a Concorde, helicopters, a Russian Antanov cargo plane and lots of other planes you can walk through. We spent the afternoon relaxing at the Caracalla Therme Baths. After the concert, we returned to the hotel to catch up with Shane who had stayed to watch the Germany vs. USA match. Sadly, Germany won 1-0. We then headed downstairs for a fabulous dinner of lamb, plaice and pork wrapped in bacon accompanied by red wine from Germany. Tomorrow, we are on to the north and plan to stay overnight in ...

So today I slept again whilst Bee was at uni. As she got back we got changed and drove to the tennis courts which are at the back of the Schlossgarten. There we met up with Paul and him and Bee played tennis whilst I walked around the Schlossgarten. I saw the stadium, and the Grosherzogische Grabkappelle, which is where all the Grossherzogen (the Dukes) are burried. We then came back home and I then went to the postgalerie , ...
